This is the Venus Transit of 2012, taken from Sacramento, CA, as seen in the infrared band. Each exposure was approximately 35 seconds apart. Taken with a converted infrared 60D and a Meade 8" telescope.
I did not rotate the image, however my clock drive was not running very well so I did have to run the series through an image stabilizer (which I'm sure could have been better if I had used something that wasn't free). I only corrected for translation though, not rotation. Since the telescope is on an equatorial mount, rotation did not need correction.
Have you rotated each image to keep the Sun Spots constant ?

I'll have to remember that next time
