I have to apologize for my lack of activity as of late, but I'd like to explain why. I've been suffering from a condition called dysautonomia. It's not commonly understood in the medical community, and I've been consistently misdiagnosed for years. The last couple years it's become increasingly bad and only with persistence did I finally learn what it is that I have.

Time to dump Instagram

I never did get an Instagram account, it was just something I never needed. But I'm sure most if not all of you have heard by now why you should remove all images from their site and delete your account.
Through a policy change, Instagram is now claiming ownership of all images that are hosted on their site, as of Jan 16. This means they can SELL the images there, and it's specifically stated that they are under no obligation to compensate you, or even notify you.
Furthermore, they have put wording in that limits their liability for making your private photos that are hosted there, public. And selling those too, I'm sure.

To Kill for Loving Someone

I got this article from a friend on FaceBook. I'm not one that cries often, but this almost did it to me. It's true, the motive has not been established. But give me a break.
Why would someone execute two people for loving each other? Because the Bible says it's wrong? (Or does it? But that's not the point of this entry.) Where does it say that means you can be judge, jury and executioner? Where does it say loving someone is a crime? Does it not say that loving is the single, sole command? Does it not say don't judge because it's not your place to do so? How can these people then kill others, just because they love each other?
